Purdue Leadership in Globalization Awards
Annually, the Office of Global Partnerships and Purdue's Global Academic Committee are seeking faculty and staff nominations for the Outstanding Leadership in Globalization Awards for impact relevant to any or all of the academic mission categories of Learning, Discovery, and Engagement. The awards are open to all categories of full-time university faculty and staff members. Two faculty awards and two staff awards will be given. There will be a comprehensive faculty award and a comprehensive staff award as well as a pillar-specific faculty award and a pillar-specific staff award. Following the existing college/unit procedures for administering faculty and staff awards, each college/unit may submit up to three (3) nominations for each award nominee category (i.e. a total of three for faculty and three for staff) by March 1. Self-nominations will not be accepted. These awards, created in 2018, are intended to further reinforce the importance of the global outreach undertaken by Purdue University’s faculty and staff. The awards demonstrate our institution’s commitment to Purdue’s Next Moves of promoting world-changing research and transformative education, for the benefit of the entire Purdue community of faculty, staff, and students, as well as our stakeholders abroad.
