Project Term: Fall 2026
Project Description:
In this project students will work on building and testing digital passports for batteries. A digital passport is an electronic identifier for objects. A digital passport allows to track a battery's history, such as when and where it was manufactured, where it was used and for how long. Most digital passports are passive. We seek to design active digital passports containing information that will help to batteries to be recycled or reused when they reach their end of life.
