Catholic Relief Services

Starting in March 2014, Purdue University and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) entered into a strategic partnership to bring value to both organizations. CRS is an international humanitarian agency with signature programs in emergency response and recovery, agricultural livelihoods, and health. Collaborative opportunities undertaken under the auspices of the partnership agreement include (i) joint research, publications and presentations; (ii) funding proposals to donors; (iii) training and internships for students; and (iv) outreach.

From Purdue's perspective, the partnership creates value by expanding access to funding opportunities, and by providing powerful research, engagement and learning experiences that prepare students, faculty and staff to be the global leaders of tomorrow and strengthen their intercultural competencies.
